Google News Alert

Using the new Google News Alert, you can get the latest information on anything you’re interested in via email:

“Google News Alerts are sent by email when news articles appear online that match the topics you specify.

Some handy uses of Google News Alerts include:
- monitoring a developing news story
- keeping current on a competitor or industry
- getting the latest on a celebrity or event
- keeping tabs on your favorite sports teams”

I’ll try it out on “Google”. It would be nice though if you could specify other frequencies than just “Daily” or “As it happens” (like, an optional weekly wrap-up).
