Google Inc. is stuck in a release frenzy, and most of us are happy about it. New today is the AdWords API (AdWords, of course, are the boxes appearing to the right of the Google Web search results and a number of other places). Google says:
“Google’s free AdWords API service lets developers engineer computer programs that interact directly with the AdWords server. With the applications created, advertisers and third parties can more efficiently – and creatively – manage their large AdWords accounts and campaigns.”
The AdWords API is based on SOAP, and gives developers a new tool to play around with. You can now e.g. automatically create keywords, ad texts, and URLs. Also, you could now develop your own tools to manage accounts and reports.
