Cutts Joins Yahoo, Zawodny and Scoble Join Google

In a strange turn of events, Matt Cutts leaves Google for Yahoo... and Yahoo’s Jeremy Zawodny starts to work at Google. So does Robert Scoble, formerly at Microsoft.

Jeremy asks “What were the odds of that?” but Matt adds, “it’s basically a blogger-for-blogger swap, but he’s got more than three times as many readers on Bloglines, so Google is contributing about 2,500 computers to even out the deal.”

Scoble explains his decision by saying “Microsoft Office is dead and I wanted to be at the company that is the future of everything.” Scoble also thinks that “the free food rocks for a fat guy like me!”
