Yahoo released the Time Capsule project where users can submit writings and snapshots, which will then be sealed and entrusted to Smithsonian Folkways Recordings in Washington, DC (and projected on a pyramid, too).
On a related note, I wonder... how will people in a century dig up artifacts from today’s web? By then, HTML, JavaScript and CSS as today might be long forgotten languages, and even if not, the dynamics of important sites like Google aren’t archived in projects like the Wayback Machine.
