Google AJAX Feed API

Google just released the AJAX Feed API. This library allows you to access RSS/ Atom feeds from within JavaScript, right on the client-side. All you need to do is include a link to Google’s JS library, and then you can work with the feed result as either JSON or XML, as the tutorial shows.

Relying on JavaScript-output brings with it some accessibility problems; for instance, people who turn off JavaScript, but also search engine bots or certain mobile clients will not be able to see your content. So, it might be best to use client-side output for non-critical stuff only, like side-bar widgets.
