A search for 'staph infection' on Google brings up with familiar Newsbox

google.com/search?tab=nw&h ...

But searching on Google News I can find absolutely nothing!

The "xyz Related Articles" bring up nothing as well

yeah, Google new did this for me earlier today. I'm not sure what to problem is. In fact, searching for "google" tuned up zero results for me. I just have to hit serch over and over and over before it finally got through. Really strange

Maybe a back-end update is in progress?

also, i recieve alerts for "Google" and i've only been getting blogger alerts, and aven't gotten anything from news...

Since fews minutes Google News is down for me too. Just after I searched for... "google", just as Dany. Now the last update of Google News is "January 1st at 0:00 GMT" :-/

news.google.com is pretty much dead in the UK (empty news panels, no search results).

I could replicate this issue last night again :(
