Actually, you can install Linux right from Windows (as a .exe). But I guess it doesn't count :-)
And then there's virtualization to run Linux from Windows (or vice-versa)

The February issue of MacFormat magazine includes Fedora Linux on the enclosed DVD. This tells me that Linux has really arrived.
