After months of delay (was scheduled to release by the end of 07 – they did, but limited), the new version of Urchin (server-side log analyzer, powers Analytics) is now in public beta (available in 90 day trial version).

Sigh, I guess I figured out why linking to Blogger images rarely works... |
Why don't they make it free since Analytics is free
What can it do that analytics can't? |
Not exactly the same, but I will put it this way – It's free to use Google, why don't they open source it? |
Agreed. Same with Google Earth and Picasa.
And Google Talk-- open source alternatives already exist to google talk. and gtalk only runs on windows. i don't even see why it exists. I've never really liked it. |
It is $3k after the trial! |
Sam
Yes, after the beta.
Just FYI, $3k is about half the price of Urchin 5 in 2005! I have used almost every enterprise analytics on the market and can say Urchin is the best. (been using it myself since 2001) Honestly, why else would Google buy it? |
