Google's Projet Hosting has been updated pretty seriously. You can now browse a SVN repository google style.
I couldn't find a screenshot of how it used to be before, but it looked a bit like this:
smplayer.svn.sourceforge.net/v ...

Now it's like this: code.google.com/p/opengoss/sou ...
