I find that I seem to be extremely fast at finding the "counterfeit" painting in the game Counterfeit. I can score about 500 points in 20-30 min. Is this unusual? Everyone else I've watched play seems much slower.

That the math teacher I want is hilarious, he calls himself MC Kim, like the rapper, that's how he starts a new class and he spent one summer redoing his bathroom and got the derivative of his toilet bowl

This week, I've learned how much it actually costs to hire venues for weddings. I've also learned that I use the Internet much more than I thought (since I'm now over my 3GB allowance, which was already increased from 1GB and then 2GB). I'm sure I've learned more useful things that that though...

I learned that the local tax office isn't that bad when you show them everything in an tax audit session even things they don't want to see. That way they think that everything seems to be ok and drop most of the parts from the audit. Well, I think that doesnt work all the time.

This week, I've learned from an insider that what I've revealed in 2007 about GG Score and values in dollars in SERPs (http://www.zorgloob.com/2007/10/gg-score-un-indice-de-googler.asp) comes from a toolbar used internally by Google. Code name: "Glengarry".

I bet you didn't know that too.

* That flock is amazing for blogging
* That google reader standard settings aren't the best way to use it (got some amazing tweaks off the thirty day challenge [http://www.ThirtyDayChallenge.com/challenge/10991])
* That twitter can be used for business purposes (John Jantsch [http://www.ducttapemarketing.com/blog/2008/08/04/twitter-for-business/] has a freebie on it)
* That I'm not the only one starting the Thirty day challenge late...
* That unless you get a good seat on the train, trying to balance a laptop on short legs is bound to get your neighbour annoyed
* Pretty much everyone behind you is going to be trying to read what you get up on said laptop, ESPECIALLY if you have headphones plugged in
* I LOVE FRIDAYS! And wireless at Gloria Jeans with a good coffee after work...
* The most amazing photos happen when the weather is absolute, um, how to say this without getting banned – think of a synonym for 'excrement', people.
* That starting early, hard as it is, makes for a REALLY good feeling when you get to knock off earlier too!
* and finally, that the internet and web 2.0 is coming closer and closer to resembling a much expanded version of the old IRC I used to love... Conversations EVERYWHERE!

1) Downloading over 100 feeds through iTunes for my first iPod (iPod Nano, 8 GB, 3rd generation) took more space than was available on my hard drive, because I have a laptop with a 60 GB hard drive, but I have installed Linux and Windows, so approximately 9 GB of podcasts is the limit with my current laptop.
2) I took Google Page Creator for granted. I thought it would graduate from Google Labs, but now I need to decide whether to move my unofficial Google FAQs and other Google-related files back to Yahoo! GeoCities, wait for the transition from Google Page Creator to Google Sites or maybe even buy my own domain.
3) Playing some of my games online with other people with my Xbox 360 using my mobile 1 Mbps connection (Finnish Sonera Liikkuva Laajakaista mokkula connection) is possible when my main internet connection has hiccups.

that the countryside south of Springfield, MIssouri is very very pretty.

thanks Streetview!

jf [PersonRank 5]

OT: streetview enhancement idea:
if i'm "driving" around in streetview, wouldnt be great to see where other streetviewers are (if they've logged in via their google account)... it would be interesting to see where the most popular areas are – are they downtown in cities, or in the countryside. what cities are the most popular?

and if you are "driving" around, you would see other streetviewers as avatars maybe, superimposed on the streetview. you could maybe have an option to engage in real time chat if you bump into another streetviewer when driving around Tokyo say...

it would be a different sort of social network, that i think would be a lot of fun and be thoroughly addictive...
