Old-fashioned humility!!! TBL's ranking just went up a few notches in my opinion.

As far as I see it, the answer for TBL is not to shut off comments, but to set up a second blog which does not allow comments. He can post to his second blog and the throngs of grateful Internet users can post to the first. The large number of comments indicates the desire of users to express their gratitude. Why stop that? I'd love to read about what the Internet means to others.
