hello,
For my dissertation in MA Information Design at the University of Reading, UK, I want to look at the visual formatting of SERPs from the beginning of Google – and other engines. Since SERPs are generated dynamically from a query, I am struggling to find examples. Google´s front page is well documented through the wayback machine at archive.org, but the result pages seem to be lost in the digital dark ages...
Can anyone in this forum point me to where I might find documentation of SERPs? Screendumps, online or in literature?
thanks,

If you search through the blogoscoped archive you may be able to find images of SERPs. If you find one in the forum, you may check that author's other posts.
You may also try a google image search of blogoscoped.
