On Zorgloob, my colleague Kendos sent an e-mail at all one-character pseudonyms on Gmail. He got errors for 0, 1, 2... 9 @gmail.com He got one answer from "q"
"Yep, we exist. The one-letter addresses are novelties, but not much of a status symbol. It just means that whoever has it was here early enough to grab one before they're all gone, and they either have access to edit the aliases list, or have a friend who does. :-)

i would bet inappropriate words are denied to anyone who wishes to have an email such as: damn, b!tch, f&*k, etc ... @google.com OR even @gmail.com! |
Don't you think names like these get a complete set of the world's spam every morning? That's how I console myself about my gmail address having numbers on the end, anyway. |
