Here's one example:
ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2653047

First, you must open a pop-up window to view the movie (and you are presented by a highly confusing, attention-grabbing semi-popup when the mouse hovers over the link; one you just want to click on but can't).
Now, instead of just clicking on "Windows Media Player" (or whatever you prefer) in this movie selection dialog, one clicks on a radio-button next to it, and then clicks on play.

All in all, that's about two clicks and one failed try more than needed for what these dialogs try to achieve.

We're doing business with a company formerly known as Pink Elephant (now Pink Roccade). Seems to apply to them too :-D

why ifilm would want to test your machine to find out what media players you have is beyond me.

(whats wrong with just providing a quicktime, media player and realplayer versions , leaving it up to the end user to decide...)

that ifilm clip doesnt work on konqueror (linux) by the way – i just get a "testing your machine for available media players" page.
