nice find.. note the two big bubbles in red and blue.. (China/India) and this is 2004 stat's only.. winder why its not updated!!

This is a truly fascination tool especially with the animation feature. For example watch China's fertility rate bounce around (presumably due to regulations).

This has been around for a while. What's new is that Google is now hosting it and has AJAX-ified the interface. I wonder what process has caused this to come about. It certainly is "Search-like", but it also seems like a Google.org initiative. Very curious.
