You missed pieces: it was about duplicate contents, talking about duplicate contents on a w3c session (if I understood this correctly), in fact he reminded about shingling, and repeated stuff about duplicates from the previous session.

You also missed video on datacenters, even though it's rather boring.

I suppose there is a typo that changes the meaning "gov’s and .eu’s" was probably gov’s and .edu’s.

Does he mean searching '/' pages only or searching users pages?

For the first thing, you can search for everything in a domain, eg:
site:cn
site:com
