That AutoLink map feature is pretty impressive. What's impressed me, perhaps more than its functionality, is the option to use MapQuest or Yahoo! Maps instead of Google Maps (available under "Options"). This shows Google are pretty fair when it comes to the "competition"...
As far as the WordTranslator feature goes, I can see its uses, but how long will it be before they allow you to translate whole sentences, phrases or web pages?
And having just tried the SpellCheck feature, I like that too – although it does make the form look a little bit weird! I'm not sure I'll actually use it though... as with many of its new features. |
For me the number 1 feature would be the spell-checker – but it's not quite worth it to go back to IE6 for that (I'm using Firefox). For the time being, and until Google releases this for Firefox, I'll stick with http://spellcheck.net for blogging... |
A Firefox spell check extension that works great -just right click where you just typed (if you remember..)
http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/
Might not be as thorough as spellcheck.net but it very convenient; and once you add words like <a href
, etc. it works even better
