Don't think this has been posted. It IS real, the one I saw on TV was slightly different. (went to different places) http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-579470424860341276&q=British+Airways |
Creative ad! I love the cloud letters, but all the zooming in and out makes me dizzy. |
There was also this news today: "British Airways has added Google Earth technology to its Web site to give passengers more information about their destination." http://news.cnet.co.uk/software/0,39029694,49283278,00.htm
... but I didn't figure out where the application is supposed to be. |

<quote> British Airways has added a "layer" to Google Earth that lets you fly straight to 111 World Offer destinations from the comfort of your own home. Research your holiday or business trip with high-resolution satellite images, learning information from how far your hotel is from the beach and restaurants, to how much your British Airways flight will cost. </quote>
Could be usefull I supose. I just downloaded the "layer" (aka .kml file) It adds the BA logo in the top left corner of the Viewing pane and lots of little white circles. When you click on one you get the prices from; Gatwick or Heathrow, Scotland, Manchester and newcastle |
ooo, just double clicked on a circle, the clouds on the adverts are also on there when it zooms in. The only problem is that it covers up some of the Hotels it adds as well |
Yeah, I have saw this one. |
