Actually, Baidu BaiKe's been online since April 20th, 2006. But it is not popular in China.

The Chinese version seems to get unblocked as well at the moment. Here in Shanghai it works. Andrew Lih is doing a nice job keeping track of which areas in China have or have not (yet) access. See andrewlih.com/blog/2006/10/16/ ...
