I don't know if anyone has seen this, but YouTube has a new, fresher logo. I think we'll be seeing this one for a long time now...

It now includes the tagline in a different place...

Definitely Fresher. Still no mention of Google ?

Maybe atleast a tagline like "From Google" or whatever.

....And the old for comparison

It may be my stupidally observant eye for design, but there is now some burning going on towards the bottom of the "Tube" box, as well as a soft bevel. I love things like this.

I don't think they'll put "from Google" until the acquisition is complete.

The old logo is showing in the beginning of this video:

So "TM" Trademark is what they added now right ?

The "TM" was already there, but it was attached to "YouTube" not "broadcast yourself." And apparently judging from some of the screenshots, there was a time when everything was "TM-less"...

The first frames in the video I made show a definite screenshot from just days ago (silly but I can't easily take screenshots of videos!)...

Like everyone's going to suddenly start using the phrase "Broadcast Yourself" unless YouTube asserts a trademark.
