Q: Who is prime minister?

This returns a Wikipedia definition which would be more suited to the question "What is a prime minister?"

Maybe I was being a bit vague in my questioning...

Q: Who is Prime Minister of England?

Returns "England Prime Minister: Tony Blair" and gives a link to more sources:

http://www.google.com/search?q=where+is+cuba

This is a good game...

Q: When was Star Wars released?

Star Wars
Year: 1977

However, despite it telling me "The following words are very common and were not included in your search: When was" I actually get a different result for:

Q: Star Wars Released?

The Star Wars Trilogy Star Wars the Empire
Released: 25 October 1990

Hmm...

"Who is the queen of england?" gives "Queen Victoria", whereas the more correct "Who is the queen of the united kingdom?" gives "Elizabeth II". Abbreviating to "UK" doesn't work. "Who is the head of the commonwealth?" works (citing Wikipedia), though similar things I tried didn't.

who wrote the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy
Douglas Adams
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=who+wrote+the+hitchhiker%27s+guide+to+the+galaxy&btnG=Search

shining director
Stanley Kubrick
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=shining+director&btnG=Search
("Who directed shining?" doesn't work.)

What also works:
catch-22 author
catch-22 director
catch-22 year
george bush age

This is a very impressive feature so far. Some more follow (also see SEW's article http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/050407-125209):

Who shot Abraham Lincoln
--> "John Wilkes Booth"

Who is Clark Kent
--> "... is the civilian secret identity of the fictional character Superman."

Where was Bill Clinton born
--> "Hope, Arkansas"

Where is Mountain View

"when did Turkey"
"when did Greece"
