It's not a Codejam (which is more like a programming contest) but an event to allow programmers to know more about the Google Development APIs

Why the place of the event in Paris is "still secret"?

They had a "Geo Developer Day" last year.

I wrote in my article that they wrote that because they wanted to know how many people there will come before rent (or not) a place to host developpers. If there are not many people, the developers will go in the office of Google France, I think.

Want to go at Google Developer Day in Paris, Hamburg or London? Too Late! No place anymore.
But in London, you can write to be in a "waitlist". Not in Paris.

I don't think that's what these developer days are for, is it?

I think if you get hold of the right person – in this case, that would need to be a Google Reader engineer I guess – they'll listen, too. Probably mostly regarding requests from a developer perspective, e.g. API feature wishes...

"It’s also an opportunity for us to listen to you and hear about what you’re doing today, what you’d like to do in the future and how we can help make that happen."
