The article is updated with a tweet from Eric Schmidt:
"Can't wait to watch the Superbowl tomorrow. Be sure to watch the ads in the 3rd quarter (someone said "Hell has indeed frozen over.")"

Maybe a big ad for Google Chrome or something.
By the way, maybe also a Doodle later today, last year a special logo was on YouTube. |
<<During the game, we'll be adding all the 2010 Super Bowl commercials to a video wall on the AdBlitz channel immediately after they air on TV. Come to the channel to watch and give each ad a thumbs up or down. Voting ends Monday, February 15, with the winner gracing our homepage on Thursday, February 18.>>

Just saw it, weird and ineffective, to say the least |
I think it drives home the point superbly – Google is about search. |
Aw, shucks. That's a sweet ad. |
But not a new ad.
By the way, contrast the suggested search terms at 0:45 with what you get today in real life. It's surprising how little they have changed since the ad was made.
In the advertisement:
How to tie a tie How to kiss How i met your mother How to get pregnant How stuff works How to How to lose weight
The first seven suggestions from google.com for me today (not logged in):
How to tie a tie How i met your mother How to kiss How to get pregnant How to lose weight fast How old is roger daltrey How to solve a rubix cube |
