I've ALWAYS hated parking pages. And for me, this is one step too far in advertising. BOO 2 GOOG!! |
This query used to work: link:pagead2.googlesyndication.com
Pages look like: www.000cut.com |
I don't know, I'm okay with this. Parking pages suck, but the owners are going to do it anyway, might as well be through a good company instead of getting a bunch of popups and what-not every time you type in an accidental domain. |
I would assume (and hope) that once a domain starts showing ads using adsense for domains, it receives an automatic pagerank reduction to 0, and de-listing from the search engine.
I can't think of one compelling reason why not.
If they do this, then I have no problem with it – although I do hate that most domains I ever want are owned by somebody who thinks $100,000 is a fair price for his domain that gets maybe 10 visitors / year. |
I noticed that www.searchenginewatc.com (note the missing "h", this is a typosquatter) goes through the google page syndication URL, though I wonder if they do this as official partners or somehow hacked the URLs together on their own.

Hmm, it doesn't seem to work anymore? Wonder what happened? |
Here's one of the bigger ones using Google AdSense for Domains: - sedo.com (and sedoparking.com)
Examples of parked domains include: - redwine.com - scene.com - monalisa.com - nobody.com - takeflat.com
Namedrive.com is apparently another user of Google's parked domains program.
[Thanks Dave N.!] |
godaddy uses it too. look at the ad links to see if it is adsense for domains. |
If you look it dosn't say Ads By Google. They musn't want to be associated with parked domains.
