Indeed, Google Maps is a powerful tool. Here are some more tools that have the potential to aid terrorists to plan attacks:
- Computer keyboards: By entering letters into this input device, digital messages can be created to speed up communication between different terrorist organisations. Among other things, this may be used to discuss potential targets.
- Froogle: An online shopping service with global reach which may allow terrorists to shop for typical warfare items such as: guns, tanks, bombs, or even computer keyboards.
- Email: Terrorists are known to use digital mail tools to not only chat about Kabul weather, but send around photos of potential targets as well.
- Post-it notes: Little yellow paper slips with an adhesive allowing them to stick to any surface, including a terrorist house, a terrorist car, and even a terrorist computer keyboard. Can be used to write short messages describing potential targets.
- Pencil: A graphite-based handheld instrument to aid in the process of creating messages of any sort, including those of clear terroristic nature. Especially deadly in combination with Post-it notes. Using a pencil, it’s possible to write the following dangerous messages: “Kill Bush”, “Kill someone who knows Bush”, or “Finally create actual Weapons of Mass Destruction.”
