More Experiments on Google Result Pages

Google seems to be experimenting with a new kind of search result page. As usual, from what we can assume, Google only tests their prototypes on a relatively small amount of users and then analyzes the “feedback” (clicks, time spent on page, and so on).

While the sections which moved to the left side aren’t new (we spotted this a while ago), I’ve never seen the green bars next to the sections. Possibly, they indicate the page count of this section’s result, or another type of relevance measurement.

[Thanks Brandon Byers and Patrick Konsor.]
