Google Homepage With Expandable "More" Box

Koen in the forum spotted a new Google design prototype. This one gets rid of the Groups and Froogle links on top of the search box and replaces them with a link to Google Video... and when you click on “more,” you’ll see a box open up on the page listing a couple of Google services (along with an “even more” button).

I never click on Froogle at all, though I do click on Google Groups sometimes... but the expandable box still contains the link, so I guess it’s no big deal. It’s interesting to see Google still tries to find ways to reduce the information contained on their homepage (if the screenshot is real, of course).

As usual, you are likely to not see this prototype at Google.com, as it’s only tested on a sample group of users...
