Google Video France Sued

Reuters/ CNN reports that the maker of a film titled “The World According to Bush”, which was available on Google Video France, now sues Google for copyright infringement. According to the producing company, Flach Film, the video was viewed over 40,000 times. Google’s defense might be that they’re in the “safe harbor” zone; not strictly controlling every single user upload, but taking down videos upon request. TomHTML in the forum comments, “You will think that [French] hate Google (Video, Books, ...) ... it’s false.”
