Red Herring and ZDnet report that Google has bought in-game advertiser AdScape Media for $23 million, citing a source close to the deal who remains anonymous. True or not? Google tells me they “don’t comment on rumor or speculation,” as usual.
Here’s what AdScape does, in their own words:
Adscape Media is the in-game advertising company, and the developer of the world’s first dynamic in-game advertising technology. Adscape Media’s patented technology, AdverPlay™, allows advertisers and publishers, measurable in-game advertising opportunities.
